Germany v Netherlands Betting Preview

The Germans are putting themselves to the test in these internationals. After losing in France on the weekend, the World Champions will be looking to strike back with a home win over the Netherlands. Holland picked up a scrappy 3-2 win in Wales on the weekend and given all their troubles during Euro 2016 qualification, they may come under heavy scrutiny on Tuesday.

Germany v Netherlands Betting Tips

The Germans have lost their last two away games now after losing in Ireland in the Euro 2016 qualifiers and then in France on the weekend in a friendly. They have only won two of their last four home games as well, although those wins did come in their last two home fixtures. So as good as the Germans can be they are not quite where they were when they won the World Cup 2014. It is more about little tweaks here and there though because they are side oozing class and quality and when they get it right, they look great.

The last time these two met they played out a 0-0 draw in Holland, one of three draws in the last five clashes. Holland have a pretty poor W2 L3 record over their last five played and they are leaking goals badly. A brace from Arjen Robben helped them to a 3-2 win over a plucky young Welsh side on the weekend. He may not face Germany and Bas Dost is a 3/1 anytime goalscorer for the Dutch. The Netherlands have no clean sheets in any of their last five now, having shipped ten goals in their last five internationals, so clear problems there.

Who will win – Germany v Netherlands Predictions

The Netherlands have some big issues to figure out in midfield and at the back. Flashes of brilliance from Robben saved them on the weekend, but they are likely to be beaten by a Germany side which is packed full of quality. Home win.
