PL Match Preview : Arsenal vs Bournemouth

Arsenal have now drawn each of their last three matches in all competitions after battling to a 2-2 draw with Paris Saint-Germain in midweek. Arsene Wenger needs to get his side back on track to avoid slipping off the pace with the league leaders any more.

They are three points off Chelsea but they could be further behind by the time they play on Sunday.

Bournemouth pulled of a 1-0 win away to Stoke last time out to end a winless run of three matches.

They have lost 2-0 in both of their encounters with Arsenal in the past and, with key players unavailable this weekend, they will struggle to avoid defeat again.

Team News

Arsenal – Arsene Wenger is reportedly planning to give Alexis Sanchez a winter break in order to keep him fresh, which means others could profit in advanced areas this weekend.
Arsenal are expected to be without Hector Bellerin for the whole of November, which means Carl Jenkinson will continue at right-back. Santi Cazorla, meanwhile, isn’t expected back until after Christmas.
Nacho Monreal and Petr Cech were rested for Arsenal’s 2-2 draw with Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday and will return to the starting XI here.
Arsene Wenger doesn’t seem to completely trust Granit Xhaka, which means Aaron Ramsey could retain his place alongside Francis Coquelin. Mohamed Elneny is another alternative in that position.
Bournemouth – Jack Wilshere is denied a reunion with his parent club due to the terms in his loan agreement.
Bournemouth welcome back Adam Smith after he missed their 1-0 win over Stoke through suspenion, which means Simon Francis should return to the heart of the defence even though Nathan Ake scored on his first league start last time out.
Andrew Surman failed to shake off a hamstring injury to feature against Stoke and remains a doubt here, while Artur Boruc and Jordon Ibe may also not recover in time to return to the team for the trip to Arsenal on Sunday.
