Nuno still waiting for new Wolves contract offer

Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Nuno Espirito
Santo says he has yet to be offered a new long-term contract by the
club but assured fans the job remains his “obsession”.

Nuno, whose
current deal expires in 2021, guided Wolves to the Championship title
in 2018 before helping them finish seventh in the Premier League last
season.

Wolves are competing in the top half of the table again
this season and are also into the round of 32 in the Europa League,
where they face Espanyol on Thursday.

Liverpool look to extend lead as top-four battle recommences

Liverpool are expected to take another step
towards clinching a long-awaited Premier League title at
bottom-of-the-table Norwich, while behind the runaway leaders the battle
for Champions League places takes centre stage this weekend.

The
Reds can extend their mammoth 22-point lead over Manchester City at
Carrow Road on Saturday as they aim to not only win the league for the
first time in 30 years, but smash the record books in the process.

Jurgen Klopp’s men have dropped just two points all season and are on a run of 16 consecutive league wins.

Juventus seek Brescia boost as rivals Inter, Lazio go head-to-head

Juventus return to their home comforts of
Turin after a poor away run, hosting struggling Brescia on Sunday with
top spot in Serie A at stake as title rivals Inter Milan and Lazio go
head-to-head in the Stadio Olimpico.

Inter moved top last weekend
ahead of Juventus on goal difference after the eight-time reigning
champions’ shock 2-1 defeat at Hellas Verona.

Maurizio Sarri’s side will be counting on a win over Mario Balotelli’s lowly Brescia, who are second last in the table.
