Fenerbahce Vs Celtic: Match Preview

The Turkish club only need a point to ensure their progression to the knockout stages of the competition and face the already eliminated Scottish side on Thursday

Fenerbahce will be without star striker Robin van Persie when they host Celtic, with the Turkish club needing a draw to qualify for the next round of the Europa League.

Vitor Pereira’s men are on the brink of qualification and one point would be enough to seal a place in the knockout stages, while Ronny Deila’s Celtic are already out of the competition after taking just two points from five Group H games.

Only pride is at stake for Celtic after defeat to Ajax sealed their fate in their last Europa League fixture, while Fenerbahce won 2-0 at Molde to keep their hopes alive.

A thigh injury has ruled Van Persie out of the fixture but the Netherlands striker has only scored five times since signing for Fenerbahce in the summer. Denmark defender Simon Kjaer and Portugal winger Nani are also unavailable through suspension.

Fenerbahce were on a run of four successive victories before drawing at Gaziantepspor on Sunday, a result that leaves the side third in the Turkish Super Lig after they missed the chance to go top.

“The Celtic game is one of the most important of the season for us,” said Fenerbahce midfielder Mehmet Topal ahead of the club’s 200th Uefa club competition game.

“There’s a chance we could top the group if we beat them.”

Deila, whose Celtic side have not won any of their last 10 games in the Europa League but are three points clear at the summit of the Scottish Premiership, said: “We are going to use this game to get more European experience.

“With good performances you get more confidence and that is what we hope to get from this match. Hopefully a good result too.

“We will see what we do with the players but we won’t change the whole team. We would never do that. We have a duty to other teams to fight for the points. You learn a lot about European football but also about your own team.

“Everybody understands that we have to make improvements. It’s very clear to me what I need to improve for next season.

“You could say defending but it’s about individual improvements and improving as a team. We have to make the squad stronger and better. That is about developing the players who are here and adding some who can make us even stronger.”

Fenerbahce, semi-finalists in 2013, drew 2-2 at Celtic Park earlier in the competition with the Turkish side fighting back from two goals down to claim a point thanks to a brace from Fernandao and the Turks have not conceded in three Europa League games since their trip to Glasgow.

Opta Facts

  • The 2-2 draw between the two in October was the first meeting between the sides in European competition.
  • In that match at Celtic Park, the Bhoys threw away a two goal lead, as Fernandao scored twice for Fener.
  • Fenerbahce have never lost to a Scottish side in European competition (W1 D2).
  • The Bhoys have conceded two or more goals in each of their last seven European contests (15 in total).
  • Fenerbahce have been beaten just three times in 13 home games since the introduction of the Europa League format (W7 D3).
  • Celtic have recorded just one win in their last 11 away matches in Europe (D5 L5).
  • Nani has created more chances than other Fenerbahce player in the competition so far (12).
  • Kris Commons has created more chances than any other Celtic player in the Europa League (12) and has been directly involved in five of their seven goals (three goals and two assists).

Tottenham – Monaco : Match Preview

The Ligue 1 side are yet to qualify for the knockout stages and must defeat Mauricio Pochettino’s men and hope that Anderlecht fail to beat Group J rivals Qarabag

Leonardo Jardim hopes Monaco‘s promising youngsters can lead the way against Tottenham on Thursday and seal their progress to the knockout stages of the Europa League.

The Ligue 1 side face an uphill task to make it through the group stages after their 2-0 home defeat to Anderlecht two weeks ago.

They sit third in Group J with six points from five games heading into Thursday’s encounter and not only need to see off Spurs, but must also hope their Belgian rivals drop points at home to Qarabag.

Jardim refuses to throw in the towel just yet, though, and hopes they can build on their 2-1 win over Bastia on Saturday, suggesting their good form away from home could make the difference.

“The team is progressing. We were aggressive against Bastia at the weekend,” Jardim said at a news conference.

“It was an important victory because we achieved it with a lot of young players, which corresponds to the club’s project of developing youngsters.

“It is great to win matches and that is always our ambition.

“It is difficult to explain why we are better away from home, but the team will continue to develop.”

Jardim will have to make do without a number of first-team regulars, though, with Guido Carrillo (calf), Fabio Coentrao (thigh), Ivan Cavaleiro (back), Joao Moutinho (hip), Thomas Lemar (ankle) and Jeremy Toulalan (thigh) all expected to miss the trip to White Hart Lane.

Tottenham, meanwhile, have already booked their ticket for the last 32, but will be looking to clinch top spot in the group.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men lead the table with 10 points, three clear of second-placed Anderlecht.

Tottenham and Monaco played out a 1-1 draw on matchday two in their first meeting in the competition, but the Premier League side have reasons for optimism thanks to their fine record against French opposition, with just one defeat in seven matches.

Additionally, Tottenham have won both of their European home matches this term and are unbeaten in seven Europa League fixtures at White Hart Lane – winning five of those – since a 3-1 loss to Benfica in March 2014.

Pochettino will be without the likes of Nabil Bentaleb, Nacer Chadli, Ryan Mason and Alex Pritchard on Thursday, with all four being plagued by ankle injuries, while the Tottenham manager could also opt to rest key players such as Harry Kane, Jan Vertonghen and Eric Dier ahead of a busy Christmas period.

Opta Facts

  • The reverse fixture in MD2 between the two was the first meeting between Monaco and Spurs, which ended 1-1.
  • Tottenham are unbeaten in their last six games against French sides in Europe (W3 D3).
  • Monaco have faced seven different English sides in European competition and hold victories over five of them (Leeds, Newcastle, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal). The only sides they haven’t beaten are Manchester United and Spurs
  • Indeed, the Red and Whites have lost just three of their 13 meetings home and away against English opposition (W6 D4).
  • Harry Kane has scored in his last two Europa League games. He last scored in three consecutively in November 2014.
  • Since beating Arsenal 3-1 in the Champions League last February, Monaco have won just once in Europe, excluding qualifiers (D4 L3).
  • That match at the Emirates was the last time Monaco managed to score more than once in a proper European tie (four goals in eight games since).
  • Tottenham have collected just two yellow cards over the course of the competition, a tournament low.

Olympiacos Piraus vs Arsenal FC : Match Preview

The Gunners need goals in Greece as they look to reach the knockout stages of the Champions League for the 16th successive season.

Joel Campbell believes Arsenal face their “most important game of the season so far” against Olympiacos, as the English side travel to Greece looking to qualify for the knockout stages of the Champions League.

Arsene Wenger’s squad go on the road knowing they have their destiny in their own hands – if they win by any other score than 1-0 or 2-1, they will make the knockout stages of Europe’s premier club competition for a 16th season in a row.

Goals, therefore, are going to be crucial for the visitors, who lost 3-2 at home to Olympiacos in September.

Campbell scored the first for Arsenal in their 3-1 home win over Sunderland in Premier League action on Saturday. However, that was just the second time in their last six outings that they have found the net more than once in a game.

“[The win over Sunderland] was a good result for the team,” Campbell told the club’s official website.

“We got the result and that’s what we wanted. Now we have to prepare mentally and physically for Wednesday’s game because it will be very difficult.

“We already played against Olympiacos at Emirates Stadium. They are a great team, a great rival and especially because they play at home.

“It is the most important game of the season so far. It will be a cup final and we have to win to continue in the Champions League.”

The Costa Rican also knows how tough it will be playing at Olympiacos’ Karaiskakis Stadium, as he spent the 2013-14 season on loan at the Greek team.

“In the Pireo [Karaiskakis Stadium] it is very difficult to get points but it is the last game of the group stage and we will give our best,” Campbell added.

Arsenal’s record away to Olympiacos does not make for pretty reading – they have lost three times against them since 2009, although on each of those occasions they had already qualified.

This time, though, the match will decide who goes through alongside Group F winners Bayern Munich. Whoever misses out on second place will go into the knockout stages of the Europa League instead.

Felipe Pardo was one of Olympiacos’ goalscorers when they won at the Emirates Stadium, but has not played in their last three games due to a calf injury.

Arsenal’s midfield anchors Francis Coquelin and Santi Cazorla have been ruled out until well into next year, although Aaron Ramsey has made his return to the starting side in recent weeks and scored at the weekend.

Opta Facts

  • Arsenal have lost all three previous Champions League away games against Olympiakos, all of those have taken place on matchday six.
  • The Greek side are currently unbeaten in six home Champions League ties against English opposition; winning five of those games (D1).
  • Arsenal have failed to keep a clean sheet in 11 of their last 12 away games in the group stage of this competition.

Everton vs Crystal Palace: Match Preview

Crystal Palace defender Scott Dann is confident his team-mates can make it three wins from three at Goodison Park when they face Everton in the Premier League on Monday.

Palace’s remarkable march away from relegation trouble in 2013-14 under Tony Pulis included a 3-2 win on Merseyside and they repeated that scoreline with Neil Warnock at the helm five months later.

Dann, a boyhood Liverpool fan, scored in the first of those victories and believes a side sitting in eighth place under current boss Alan Pardew can once again emerge triumphant.

“We’ve got a strong record up there, and over the last couple of years we’ve enjoyed some good victories,” the centre-back told Palace’s official website.

“I think the way we play away from home gives us a chance to make it three away wins in a row, so we’re looking forward to Monday night.”

Palace are a point ahead of 11th-placed Everton and Dann is keen to boost Palace’s chances of securing a top-10 finish.

“I think we can be happy with where we are in the league,” he said.

“The past two seasons we haven’t started so well and have then come strong at the end of the season, so if we can build on what we’ve done already then hopefully we can be pushing teams like Everton come the end.

“Getting in the top 10 is what we want, and it’s what we’re working hard to achieve.”

Everton boss Roberto Martinez has refused to rule out James McCarthy and the midfielder will continue to battle a hip problem over the weekend.

England full-back Leighton Baines, meanwhile, could be set for his first Premier League action of the campaign having returned from a lengthy ankle lay-off as a substitute in the League Cup quarter-final win at Middlesbrough.

“He had a very good introduction on Tuesday night and now we need to see how he is recovering,” Martinez said of Baines. “He’ll need two or three days to get back to normal and then we’ll make a decision on that.

“We need to give him little introductions before he can get full fitness for 90 minutes, but with his experience it’s a lot easier to get to that point very quickly.”

Baines’ fellow defenders Phil Jagielka, Tyias Browning, Tony Hibbert (all knee) and Bryan Oviedo (hamstring) remain on the sidelines along with midfielder Steven Pienaar (hamstring).

Palace could have Dwight Gayle back from a hamstring strain, although fellow forward Bakary Sako will miss out due to a similar complaint.

Opta Facts

  • Everton are unbeaten in their last 15 Premier League games played on a Monday (W7 D8).
  • Crystal Palace have lost just one of their last four Premier League games against Everton (W2 D1 L1).
  • At Goodison Park, the Toffees have lost four of their six Premier Leagues clashes with Crystal Palace (W2), including the last two (both by a 2-3 scoreline).

Arsenal – Sunderland : Match Preview

The Gunners have sustained a number of injury problems in recent weeks and face an in-form Black Cats side, but the former West Ham manager is remaining cautious

Sam Allardyce insists Sunderland will have to be on top of their game to claim an away win over Arsenal despite the injury problems that have ravaged the hosts.

Sunderland have pulled out of the Premier League relegation zone with a run of three wins in five matches, as Allardyce has started to make his mark on his new side.

The Wearsiders have not beaten Arsenal away from home in the league since 1983, but would appear to have a strong chance of ending that drought given the number of players absent from Arsenal’s squad owing to injury.

Arsene Wenger is without Jack Wilshere (ankle), Danny Welbeck (knee) and Alexis Sanchez (hamstring), while Francis Coquelin and Santi Cazorla (both knee) are also unavailable along with Mikel Arteta (calf).

Tomas Rosicky remains on the sidelines with a knee problem, but Laurent Koscielny (hip) and Theo Walcott (calf) could feature in the squad as Arsenal aim to avoid a fourth straight league game without a win.

But Allardyce said of fourth-placed Arsenal: “I think the strength in depth of Arsenal’s squad is why they’ve always qualified for Europe and finished in the top four.

“It weakens the side slightly, we have a better chance when those players are not playing, but they’ve still got a top-quality squad of international players throughout.

“If we can play our very best game, then those weaknesses may be able to be exploited. Our best form will be needed [even] if people consider Arsenal weaker without those players.

“We’ve got a particularly difficult December, the challenge for us is to maintain our results. The lads will hopefully show that confidence and determination on Saturday.”

Sunderland have injury problems of their own, with Jermain Defoe out because of a hamstring concern, Jack Rodwell unavailable with a similar problem and Sebastian Larsson nursing a knee issue.

Arsenal, despite their dip in form and injury worries, are just two points adrift of league leaders Manchester City and manager Wenger is confident his depleted side are up for the challenge of keeping pace at the top.

He told the club’s official website: “I believe first of all it’s always a disappointment to lose the players at an important moment of the season. But on the other hand, it’s a great challenge to take for the team and a great opportunity to show that we are ready for a fight and we can deal with it.

“We prepared ourselves to go through periods like that, and I’m convinced the players are ready. We have gone through a little bit of a bad spell in recent games, but we are two points off the top

“The great opportunity for us is that, despite that bad spell, we are very close. That’s why it’s important that we keep our confidence high and our determination high, and start winning again.

“We want the crowd to be behind the team and help us to do it.”

Opta Facts

  • Arsenal are unbeaten in their last 11 top-flight clashes with Sunderland (W7 D4) and have suffered defeat in just one of the last 23 versus them.
  • Sunderland have now won as many league games in six games under Sam Allardyce as they had in 17 matches under Dick Advocaat (3).
  • Allardyce has lost seven successive Premier League games against Arsenal and hasn’t beaten the Gunners in the competition since May 2010 (Blackburn 2-1 Arsenal).

Lazio – Juventus : Betting Preview

The midfielder has warned that the home side will be keen to end their wretched recent run in Serie A against the reigning champions

Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio is wary of a backlash from struggling Lazio when Massimiliano Allegri‘s team travel to the Stadio Olimpico on Friday.

Since losing 1-0 at Sassuolo at the end of October, Juventus have won five matches in a six-game unbeaten run across all competitions.

The return to form has helped the defending champions claw their way back up the Serie A table to fifth, seven points shy of Napoli, who replaced Inter at the summit with a 2-1 win over Roberto Mancini’s side on Monday.

Lazio are only five points worse off in 10th, but their form has collapsed over recent weeks.

Europa League wins over Rosenborg and Dnipro have disguised an alarming slide which has seen Lazio collect one point from their past five matches in the league.

“When a team goes through difficult moments, they will try to bounce back in a big game,” Marchisio told Sky Italia.

“But we are preparing well, we are confident.”

Marchisio has been heartened by Juve’s recovery from winning only one of their opening six Serie A games this term and he believes there is further improvement to come, with lifting a fifth successive Scudetto remaining a significant challenge.

“The recovery is not yet complete but the pride and commitment of the last month is perfect,” he said.

“We’re back and it will be more difficult than in past year to win the title. The departures during the close-season were incredible but the season is long and there are still a lot of matches to go.”

Marchisio could be joined in midfield on Friday by Sami Khedira after the Germany international returned to training following a thigh injury, although Paul Pogba is suspended.

Pioli believes his team are not earning just rewards for their performances and has backed his players to turn their fortunes around.

“The results are painful right now, but the performances in recent games are not,” he said.

“In this situation a coach has to work, motivate and choose the best way to get out of it. I believe in our work as a team.

“There’s a lot of disappointment, the results are negative and the table proves it, but we certainly want to emerge from this delicate moment.”

Lazio lost 2-0 to Juventus in the traditional season curtain raiser of the Supercoppa Italiana back in August, with Mario Mandzukic and Paulo Dybala scoring second-half goals.

The Juventus forward duo enter this latest meeting in high spirits – Mandzukic boasting three goals in his previous four matches, while Dybala has six goals and three assists to his name in Serie A this season.

Antonio Candreva is set to start for Lazio after his agent was forced to dismiss speculation that the Italy winger is set for a January move to Inter.

Key Opta stats:

– Lazio have not won in Serie A against Juventus since December 2003: since then, there have been 15 wins for the Bianconeri and six draws.
– Juventus have failed to find the net only once over these last 21 games (0-0 in November 2012).
– Alessandro Matri, Juventus’ former player, has scored four goals in Serie A against the Bianconeri, though they all have come before his move to Juventus in January of 2011.
– Stefano Pioli has never beaten Juventus in his managing career: three draws and eight defeats across Serie A, Coppa Italia and Italian Supercup.

Cadiz vs Real Madrid: Betting Preview

The defender says Los Blancos are aiming to continue their recovery from the defeat to Barcelona when they take on Cadiz in the Copa del Rey

Pepe admits Real Madrid are still smarting from their 4-0 defeat to Barcelona but they are working to return to consistency ahead of their Copa del Rey clash with Cadiz.

Rafael Benitez’s side were thrashed by the Catalan side in front of their own fans on November 21, consigning them to successive defeats in La Liga for the first time in more than a year.

After putting together consecutive victories over Shakhtar Donetsk and Eibar, Madrid travel to face third-tier Cadiz on Wednesday.

Portuguese centre-back Pepe says they remain behind their under-pressure coach and are working hard to improve results and remain in contention for silverware.

“We did not expect to play like that against Barcelona,” he said. “We are with the coach and with the president.

“We have to match the intensity of our opponent and know what we have in our hearts.

“We have a lot of quality, but that alone will not win games. The fans asked us to work and that’s what we’ll do.

“It hurt us a lot. We have pride and the only way to get out of this situation is to work.”

Teenage Norwegian international Martin Odegaard and Borja Mayoral were among a selection of Castilla players who trained with the first-team on Monday, so could be in line to feature.

Raphael Varane (thigh) and Sergio Ramos (shoulder) remain sidelined, while Marcelo (thigh) is unlikely to feature despite working with the ball ahead of the clash.
Madrid won the Copa for the 19th time in 2014, with Barcelona (27) and Atheltic Bilbao (23) the only sides to have lifted the trophy on more occasions.

In contrast, Cadiz have never won the tournament, though they did reach the semi-finals in the 1989-90 edition, only to be eliminated by Madrid 4-0 on aggregate.

Claudio Barragan’s side narrowly missed out on a place in the second tier last season, suffering defeat to Athletic Club II in the promotion play-off final.

However, Cadiz – who have 2007-08 Pichichi winner Daniel Guiza in their ranks – look set to mount another promotion challenge this term, with just one defeat in 15 matches in Group Four of the Segunda B putting them third in the table.

The Andalusian club are four points adrift of leaders Real Murcia, who inflicted their only defeat of the campaign at the Estadio Ramon de Carranza.
That loss came as an act of revenge after Cadiz dumped them out in the first round of the Copa, with subsequent victories over Mensajero and Laredo setting up thier date with Madrid.

Barcelona v Villanovense: Betting Preview

B

The third-tier side travel to the Camp Nou having lost all five games since holding the treble winners a surprise 0-0 draw in the first leg of their last-32 tie

Holders Barcelona will aim to snuff out the slim prospect of an early Copa del Rey exit when they host Segunda B outfit Villanovense on Wednesday.

A second-string Barca line-up were unable to find a way past their third-tier opponents when the first leg finished goalless in October.

An attack led by Munir el Haddadi and Sandro Ramirez failed to fire and head coach Luis Enrique must ponder whether to name the likes of Ballon d’Or nominees Lionel Messi and Neymar in his squad in case the threat of an improbable upset begins to loom larger.

The members of the first team that are rested in this one will have thoroughly earned that luxury, as Barcelona have been in scintillating form over recent weeks.

Bitter rivals Real Madrid were beaten 4-0 in the first Clasico showdown of the season at the Santiago Bernabeu and, on Saturday, Real Sociedad were dispatched by the same scoreline after Roma left the Camp Nou on the back of a 6-1 midweek Champions League demolition.

“I hope our best moment is still to come,” Luis Enrique told reporters after the Sociedad match.

“That we are playing well and that the team is enjoying themselves is undeniable. But nobody wins anything in December.

“We have an important month coming up, with big games in La Liga, the Club World Cup and the Copa del Rey. We have to take it game by game.”

Indeed, the away leg at Villanovense is the only time in the past 10 competitive outings that Barcelona have not emerged victorious.

By contrast the minnows come into the match in wretched form.

A 2-1 loss to Cartagena on Saturday was their fifth in succession since playing Barcelona and leaves Julio Cobos Moreno’s team mired in Segunda B Group 4 relegation trouble.

Cameroonian midfielder Wilfrid Kaptoum made his Barcelona debut in the first leg, with Aitor Cantalapiedra doing likewise from the bench and both 19-year-olds will be hopeful of further action on home turf.

The last-32 clash will be completed ahead of schedule due to Barca’s forthcoming participation in the Club World Cup.
All other first-leg matches in the round take place this week with the return fixtures to follow two weeks later.

SSC Napoli vs Inter Milan: Betting Preview

The two go into the weekend’s action as Serie A’s leading sides and meet at Stadio San Paolo on Monday, with the Argentina international eager for a win

Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain says his team-mates are dreaming of the Scudetto ahead of Monday’s visit from Serie A leaders Inter.

Going into the weekend’s Serie A action, Inter sit two points clear of Maurizio Sarri’s Napoli at the summit, although the pair’s closest challengers Fiorentina and Roma are both in action on Sunday.

Inter and Napoli have conceded just seven and eight league goals respectively this term, taking advantage of Juventus’ sluggish title defence to stake an early claim for the Scudetto.

While both camps have been eager to play down their respective title chances so far as they approach the midway point of the season, Higuain admitted his focus was firmly on winning the league.

“It’s only right to dream and anyone who says they’re not dreaming of the Scudetto is lying,” the Argentinean told Corriere della Sera.

“At the same time, what the coach says is also true, we have to take it one game at a time.

“When our fans are behind us we become even stronger. We need them and they need us, this is the perfect tandem to be successful.

“I am still young and think I can still learn a great deal more. That is my only objective. We’ll study Inter, but after that must remain concentrated on doing what we know best.”

Higuain has scored in all three of his home games against Inter, but will come up against a side who have kept four successive clean sheets in the league.

The last time Inter had a longer run without conceding in the same season was back in 2004-05.

While Napoli have seen Lorenzo Insigne shake off fitness concerns, Inter coach Roberto Mancini could be without Geoffrey Kondogbia following a knock to his thigh.

But, off the back of four consecutive Serie A victories, Fredy Guarin is confident Inter can claim a first win in Naples since October 1997.

Asked about the secret to Inter’s success, Guarin told Inter Channel: “A great group of lads all pulling in the same direction.

“We’re all willing to lend each other a hand, both on and off the pitch. Mancini makes sure everyone feels involved, even those who are playing less.”

Opta Facts

  • Napoli and Inter have drawn each of their last three Serie A meetings: last season both games ended 2-2.
  • Inter’s last win at the San Paolo was back in October 1997: they’ve had three draws and six defeats since then.
  • Napoli have won their last seven home games between Serie A and Europa League, scoring 22 goals and conceding just two.
  • Napoli have scored in their last 24 home league games: 60 goals, an average of 2.5 per game.
  • Inter have scored in their last 10 away Serie A games.
  • Napoli have conceded only eight goals so far: the last time they conceded so few goals was back in 1986/87, when they won the Scudetto.
  • Inter and Napoli have scored the first goal of the match 10 times this season, the joint-highest along with Fiorentina.
  • Inter haven’t conceded a goal in their last four league games. The last time the Nerazzurri had a longer run in the same season was back in 2004/05 (5).

Leicester v Manchester United betting: Preview

No doubt the Match of the Week as the top two in the Premier League goes head to head with each other. Not many would have expected Leicester to be where they are at the moment, top of the standings. Leicester have exceeded all expectations and they have the chance to improve their position at the top of the Premier League and they will hope to repeat last season’s home win over United when they clash on Saturday. The Red Devils do have a strong defence and it remains to be seen if the United defence can prevent Jamie Vardy from scoring in his 11th Premier League match in a row and calming the goal scoring record, which he currently shared with Ruud van Nistelrooy who played for Manchester United before.

Leicester City is playing good football and they are in great form at the moment. They are playing with full confidence and the belief as well as enjoying the games they are playing which gives them the results. Their 28 league goals this season makes them the Premier League top goalscorers and Jamie Vardy has contributed 13 of them in what is turning out to be an incredible season so far for them. Vardy is jointly holding the Premier League record for most consecutive games scored in (10) alongside Ruud van Nistelrooy, so Vardy needs a goal on Saturday evening to beat that record. So, he will be the player to watch for the home side no doubt.

Interestingly, Leicester are the only side in the Premier League to have scored in each of their league games this season. That is very impressive and they have scored eight in their last three games. They have only picked up the two clean sheets all season so you can consider for Both Teams to Score here – Yes as well as this game going Over 2.5 goals. The last three meetings between the two of these at Leicester have gone over 2.5 goals and the way Leicester are playing and scoring for fun it is worth to consider going Over 2.5 as well. In the last four games between the two sides, there have been 18 goals scored as well.

However, in their head to head matches, Manchester United do have the better form having won 10 of the last 11 Premier League games against Leicester. However, the Foxes became the first ever side in the history of the Premier League to come back from two goals down in a game and beat United. That was in their 5-3 win over the Red Devils on home soil last season.

Manchester United have only lost one of their last nine Premier League games, winning six of those but even if they do score and go in front and score then they will know that Leicester are the comeback kings having recovered 10 points from losing positions this season. The player to watch for United will be Wayne Rooney but in midweek they fired blanks in their goalless draw against PSV Eindhoven so they are lacking the creativity to get the goals.

As at this post Leicester  has 3.01  odd to win the match on NaijaBet while Manchester United has 2.30 odd to win the match also, while the odd to draw the match is 3.25 .
