Arsenal
Mikel Arteta is without five defenders for the trip to Fratton Park, with Calum Chambers, Kieran Tierney, Sead Kolasinac, Shkodran Mustafi and Cedric Soares all out.
Pablo Mari is hoping to make his first appearance following his January arrival, though Arteta is able to call upon David Luiz, Sokratis and Rob Holding to feature at the heart of the defence.
Eddie Nketiah is expected to lead the attack, but the Gunners boss has plenty of offensive options.
Prediction
- Portsmouth earned a 3-0 win over Rochdale on Friday night to extend their winning run to 10 matches at Fratton Park. They have lost just the once on home turf this season and are not to be underestimated here.
- Arsenal had the weekend off as their clash with Manchester City was postponed as a result of their participation in the Carabao Cup final. The Gunners will be looking to quickly bounce back from their late Europa League exit last week and are unbeaten in 10 away from home, though seven of those have been draws.
- Arsenal have already come away from the south coast with an FA Cup win this season, having beaten Bournemouth in January, and should repeat the feat here.
