A deal to prise Martinez away from Inter is the more straightforward of the two transfers but the Serie A outfit have no interest in selling the 22-year-old.

Antonio Conte’s side are in no rush to sell Martinez, as the Argentine still has three years left to run on his current deal and he will stay unless he requests to leave.

Into his second season at Inter, Martinez has reached double figures in Serie A for the first time (11 goals) and also scored five goals in six appearances in the Champions League group stage, including one at Camp Nou against Barcelona.
