Willian to join one of Chelsea’s Premier League rivals

“The only concrete negotiation was to renew a contract with Chelsea, which wasn’t possible. They wanted a two-year contract and I asked for three.

“Now, everything has stopped. We hear rumours, we know that we have interests from clubs, especially because I’ll be free in the market, I’ll be able to negotiate, there are no offers for now.

“Returning to Brazil is not something I think about now. It doesn’t cross my mind. I still have a lot of interest in Europe.”

Willian has spent the seven years at Chelsea after the Blues hi-jacked Tottenham’s move for the Brazilian in 2013.

Now Willian could finally end up joining Tottenham with former Chelea manager Jose Mourinho at the north London outfit.

Willian has featured in all but one of Chelsea’s Premier League matches this season and has played a direct hand in 10 goals in that time (five goals, five assists).
