PL Match Preview : Arsenal vs Bournemouth

Arsenal have now drawn each of their last three matches in all competitions after battling to a 2-2 draw with Paris Saint-Germain in midweek. Arsene Wenger needs to get his side back on track to avoid slipping off the pace with the league leaders any more.

They are three points off Chelsea but they could be further behind by the time they play on Sunday.

Bournemouth pulled of a 1-0 win away to Stoke last time out to end a winless run of three matches.

They have lost 2-0 in both of their encounters with Arsenal in the past and, with key players unavailable this weekend, they will struggle to avoid defeat again.

PL Match Preview : Chelsea vs Tottenham

Six successive wins has lifted Chelsea to the top of the table, though they could be third by the time this match kicks off. However, they will be confident of topping the Premier League by the close of play on Saturday having not lost a league game at home to Tottenham since 1990.

Spurs have won only one of their last nine competitive outings and were knocked out of the Champions League in midweek. They will look to exact revenge on Chelsea having seen their title hopes ended in the 2-2 draw between the pair in west London back in May.

Sunderland have won back-to-back Premier League games for the first time since May and did so in convincing fashion after putting three past Hull last time out. Their second win of the season moved them off the bottom of the table and they are now just three points adrift of safety.

Liverpool fans will be expecting a win on Saturday but games between these two sides have been tight affairs in recent years. Sunderland haven’t won any of their last five against Liverpool, but they did manage two draws in that time and the three defeats were only by a single goal. A Liverpool victory by a one-goal margin could be on the cards once more.

PL Match Preview : Burnley vs Manchester City

Burnley did not warm up for the reception of Manchester City in ideal fashion. They come into Saturday’s fixture off the back of a shock 4-0 defeat to West Brom! Returning to home soil should provide them with some confidence, where they have the fourth best record in the league – only Tottenham and Chelsea have collected more points at home than Burnley this season, so it will not be a walkover for Pep Guardiola’s side.

Manchester City managed an unconvincing 1-1 draw against Gladbach in the Champions League on Wednesday but now turn their attentions to this match against Burnley. Their performances have dropped in recent weeks, but they have still won five of their six league away matches.

Burnley triumphed the last time they welcomed City and it would be a shock if they can repeat the feat here. City have failed to keep a clean sheet in each of their last four, which should give Burnley added faith, but an away win seems likely, even if only a narrow one. Naija and Bet

They come into this match having won each of their last five home matches, where they have also kept a clean sheet in the last four of those.

Feyenoord’s superb start to the season has slowed considerably in recent weeks. They have only managed two wins in their last six matches and slipped to their first league defeat of the season to strugglers Go Ahead Eagles before the international break.

Manchester United produced their best performance under Jose Mourinho against Arsenal and were unlucky not to have come away with all the points.

They are currently third in their Europa League group with two games remaining and one point behind Fenerbahce and Thursday’s opponents Feyenoord.

United have a shocking record in this competition, having only won four of their 12 previous matches. Three of those have come on home soil and, with a win needed, should come away with all the points here.

CL Match Preview : FC Rostov vs Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich fell to a 1-0 defeat against Borussia Dortmund at the weekend and in doing so they dropped from top spot on points in the Bundesliga for the first time since September 2014.

They have struggled to rediscover their best form under Carlo Ancelotti this season and are currently second in their Champions League group after losing ground to Atletico Madrid .

They haven’t kept a clean sheet in their last five matches in all competitions either, which is further cause for concern for Ancelotti.

FC Rostov and PSV Eindhoven cannot qualify for the next stage of the Champions League but are battling against themselves for the right to finish third and Europa League football.

Both only have one point but PSV have a marginally better goal difference, with both sides set to finish their group stage campaign against each other in a shoot-out for Europa League football.

The Russian side were unbeaten in 26 home matches prior to their 1-0 defeat to Atletico last month. This is not an easy game for Bayern, who are not playing particuarly well.

FC Rostov – FC Rostov have a clean bill of health for the reception of Bayern Munich.

Bayern Munich – Kingsley Coman and Javi Martinez are ruled out for the trip to Russia on Wednesday, while Arjen Robben is a doubt. Arturo Vidal missed their 1-0 defeat against Borussia Dortmund through injury and is a doubt here.

Carlo Ancelotti doesn’t really have that many options for changes, but Douglas Costa will be looking for game time here having started against Dortmund on the bench.

After a run of six matches without a win, City are now unbeaten in four and have won three of those. Defending is still an issue for City, who have only managed one clean sheet in their last 12 matches in all competitions.

Gladbach, meanwhile, have only won three of their last 12 competitive matches and are winless in their last four. One win in their last six home matches is also not a great record ahead of the reception of City, who beat them 4-0 in the reverse fixture back in September.

With Gladbach back to full strength you cannot underestimate the German side. Pep Guardiola has also struggled against Andre Schubert in the past to add to what should be an interesting tie, but City should come out on top in the end. Naijabet.com

CL Match Preview : Celtic vs Barcelona

Since being thrashed 7-0 by Barcelona in September Celtic have only lost one of the resulting 13 matches in all competitions – a 2-0 defeat at home to Gladbach.

They have won five of their last six and kept a clean sheet in seven of their last nine competitive matches.

Barcelona haven’t kept a clean sheet in any of their last five competitive away games, which should give Brendan Rodgers some confidence ahead of Wednesday’s glamour tie in Glasgow.

The Spanish giants have scored in all eight of their competitive away matches this season and have scored more than one goal in six of those matches. Keeping Barcelona’s front free at bay is likely to prove too much for Celtic’s defence. These matches have been close in the recent years and this could be decided by one goal.
