Europa Match Preview : Southampton vs Inter Milan

Thursday, November 3rd, 2016

Southampton’s good run of form looks to be coming to an end after only managing to win two of their last seven matches in all competitions.

They were particularly disappointing against Chelsea at the weekend and things do not get easier when they welcome Inter, despite the fact the Serie A giants are in turmoil.

Inter managed a 1-0 win on home soil against Southampton last month but have only won two of their last eight matches in all competitions. They have also lost on their last two visits to England.

Southampton are unbeaten in six European home games, a run that goes back to 1981. Nevertheless, it will take a huge performance for them to win here, but it will be an occasion to savour for their fans.
