UCL Match Preview : FC Basel vs Paris Saint Germain

Basel currently have one point to their name from the opening three group games of the Champions League and in that time have netted just one goal.

They need a positive result to increase their chances of securing a Europa League place in the New Year, with qualification to the next round of the Champions League expected to be beyond them.

PSG landed a 3-0 win over their Swiss counterparts in the reverse fixture and are confident of securing another crucial three points against Basel. The French giants have also won their last three away competitive fixtures and should make a fourth in Switzerland.

The away side have what it takes to land victory in this one.

FC Basel– Alexander Fransson, Manuel Akanji and Kevin Bua are all doubts for the welcome of PSG.

With that in mind, Basel should make minimal changes to their XI here.

UCL Match Preview : Ludogorets Razgrad vs Arsenal

Ludogorets will hope for a much-improved showing having fallen to a 6-0 defeat at the hands of Arsenal in the reverse fixture. The hosts have won back-to-back games since the loss at the Emirates, however, scoring nine goals in that time.

Arsenal are on a 14-match unbeaten run in all competitions and will look to improve their chances of securing top spot with another victory here. Indeed, they’ve won their last four away matches and will be confident of adding a fifth here.

Ludogorets are expected to put in a stronger showing at home, but Arsenal should win here.
