Southampton – Pierre-Emile Højbjerg is a doubt for this fixture after being forced to withdraw from the Denmark squad with a knock.
Ryan Bertrand also picked up an injury during the international break, while Fraser Forster was forced to withdraw from the England squad at the start of the break. All three are expected to be fit this weekend.
Dusan Tadic suffered a suspected broken nose with Serbia, but that shouldn’t rule him out this weekend. Cedric Soares also returns.
Southampton are also expected to still be without Shane Long, Jake Hesketh, Alex McCarthy, Matt Targett, Harrison Reed and Jeremy Pied.
Liverpool – Danny Ings has been ruled out for 7-9 months after suffering another knee injury. Sheyi Ojo and Joe Gomez have returned to training but aren’t expected to feature here.
Adam Lallana was forced off in the first half of England’s 2-2 draw with Spain with a suspected calf injury. It’s not thought to be serious, but it may keep him sidelined here nonetheless.
Philippe Coutinho is reportedly an injury doubt since returning from the international break. If he is not fit to feature then Daniel Sturridge will come into the team.
