Though this game won’t be an away fixture for the Blues I still fancy them to take all three points by Tuesday so for this its a straight win for the Blues or for a safer bet an over 1.5 cause certainly this game got goals.
Next is the other set of fixtures in the same group as the one above, Atletico Madrid v Qarabag. Before the UCL games began it was clear that Qarabag would be the whooping boys of group c and so it has except from when they faced Atletico Madrid in which case the game ended in a draw. Atletico Madrid knows anything but a win will put them in a very bad situation and could likely see them kicked out early in the UCL and drop to the Europa league. Atletico Madrid are not a bad side but too many draws has not been good for them they would need to turn those draws to wins. Qarabag themselves will only be in this game to play for pride as they will most likely finish bottom of the group so for this game its going to be another straight win for Atletico Madrid or for a safer bet, a double chance on Atletico Madrid.
In the previous game Olympiacos showed character against Barcelona and where able to hold them off till that own goal came in and opened the flood gates for Barcelona to score more goals. Barcelona as well has been in top form with Messi firing on all cylinders this should be an easy win for Barcelona as they will want to be in a good position before they face Juventus, but for a safer bet go for an over 1.5 or a Messi to score in any minute of the game.
Benfica were hard done by in the last game against Manchester united, after displaying a fine performance they suffered a painful own goal late into the second half, they must have learnt their lessons from that game and this time around will be more than ready to take their chances in this game, there also they know now that they can match Manchester united for player to player and would not want a second straight defeat against the same team. Manchester united have been able to get back to winning ways this weekend after a shocking loss at Huddersfield and are unbeaten in the UCL, they will certainly be hoping to keep their form but I don’t see them taking all three points so I give this one double chance on Benfica or for a safer bet both teams to score cause this game won’t be another drab affair.
In the previous game Tottenham shocked the world by picking up a point at the home of Madrid but have seen their form dip recently since the absence of star striker Harry Kane, they have looked toothless in attack with Dele Ali not coming to the party in their last game against Manchester united where they lost. Real Madrid also lost their last league game shockiling to a newly promoted Girona with Ronaldo fit and on the pitch which means both teams especially Real Madrid will not want to go two games without a win which makes this game a very interesting and competitive one but I will fancy Real Madrid to take the win as Tottenham look more flat between the two, more also it is going to be at Wembley where Tottenham have been known to struggle, but for a safer bet, Madrid to score first.
Liverpool v Maribor not much to say about this one as it looks like the Reds have found their scoring boots both in England and in Europe, winning 3-0 in the league and smashing Maribor 7-0 in the previous fixture I give this one a straight win to Liverpool but Maribor will want to play for pride and avoid another humiliation so for a safer bet go for a double chance on Liverpool.
Manchester city, what more can we say, deadly in attack and play with much intensity but against Napoli this won’t be easy. As we all know Manchester city have been showing a bit of weaknesses defensively in their last few games and Napoli themselves are no pushovers as they sit top of Serie A table. Both teams can score, both teams have lethal men going forward but Manchester city showed something to Napoli in their previous encounter which is if you come out to attack Manchester city you will mostly likely get a goal. As we saw in the previous game Napoli almost came back to force a draw if not for a missed penalty. It won’t be an easy affair, both teams are topping their respective leagues and both teams are no minnows, Napoli will not want to loose back to back so I give this one to the Italian side to take all three points, but as usual for a safer bet go for both teams to score.
